The 23-year-old shot-stopper has been a target for Masandawana for some time now, and the Siya crew reported back in July that they were hoping to try and get a deal done that would bring him on board from Ajax Cape Town.
February, a South African youth international, is currently behind Nick Hengelman in the pecking order at the Urban Warriors, and it was made a priority for him to move on in order to get regular game-time in the 2019/20 season.
With that in mind, Siya sources have revealed that February has joined Cape Umoya United on loan for the season ahead where he will work once again with former Ajax coach, Roger de Sa, while talks about a permanent move to Sundowns remain ongoing.
The keeper completed a loan move to Cape Umoya shortly before the closure of the transfer window, and talks between Ajax and Sundowns are still in progress with regards to a move to Chloorkop in the next transfer window.
