Andile Jali’s future remains up in the air at present, but with Mamelodi Sundowns pressing hard for his signature, it should be finalised at some point this week.
It was thought that a decision from the 28-year-old was imminent as Sundowns led to race to try and bring him on board, however his agent, Mike Makaab, has now said that they’re taking time to make sure he is completely happy with whatever he decides to do.
It is thought to be a two-horse race between Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs after his former club, Orlando Pirates, seemingly dropped out of the running, with Masandawana thought to be in the driving seat at present.
The Siya crew spoke to Makaab for an update on the free agent, with the agent saying, “It’s a very important decision in his life, but we’re hoping that by month end we’ll have it sorted. We want to make sure there’s no pressure on Andile, and we want him to be 100% about the choice he makes.”
