They’re two of the most sought-after young players in South Africa at present following a number of fine performances, but it appears to be ‘hands-off’ Teboho Mokoena and Sipho Mbule.
The talented SuperSport United midfield duo both still have long-term contracts in Tshwane as they continue to play their part in helping to keep the club’s title push alive, but the Siya crew has been informed that they’re on the verge of signing improved deals.
Mokoena, 22, and Mbule, 21, have both missed just one Absa Premiership game each in 2019/20 so far, playing a major role for Kaitano Tembo’s side as they climbed up to third place on the log with almost a third of the season gone.
Now, after SuperSport confirmed that Ronwen Williams and Aubrey Modiba had committed their futures to the club, Siya sources have revealed that Mokoena and Mbule are next as the club looks to reward them with new deals as a reward for their efforts over the last year or so.
The crew has been led to believe that new three-year contract – with an added one-year option – are on the table for the duo, with the club seeking to secure their futures in the coming weeks in order to fend off any interest from elsewhere.
