The Siya crew has learnt that the representatives of Ian Palmer are assessing their options for the coach as he looks to make a comeback with a club in the new year.
Palmer has been in the football wilderness since his stint in the GladAfrica Championship last year with Richards Bay FC.

According to sources, a number of clubs in the top and second tier leagues of Mzansi football have been contacted about the availability of the coach.
Prior to the Richards Bay role, Palmer had spells with Mthatha Bucks and Super Eagles between 2017 and 2018.

The former Orlando Pirates player previously also held spells with Maritzburg United, Black Leopards and Chippa United among other clubs.
“Ian Palmer has had his people assessing their options as the coach is keen on making a return to competitive football with a club. They are waiting for a feedback after speaking to different clubs in the PSL (DStv Premiership) and NFD (GladAfrica Championship),” said the source.
