News reaching the Siya crew is that a Ghanaian striker has been spotted in Gauteng, with a proposed move to Soweto on the cards.
As previously reported by the crew, forward, Michael Sarpong, was offered to AmaZulu, who are understood to have backtracked on their interest in the player.
Indications are that the 26-year-old looks has been offered to the three Soweto sides; Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Swallows.
Siya sources have revealed Sarpong is keen on a move to the DStv Premiership, with the player’s camp working hard behind the scenes to secure a move to one of the Soweto giants.
It remains to be seen which club will win the race for the player’s signature, with a deal expected to be finalized in the coming weeks.
