Hunt Nearing New Wits Contract

Gavin Hunt and Bidvest Wits are currently in negotiations regarding a new contract for the four-time Absa Premiership winner, with his current deal close to expiration.
Hunt has been with the Clever Boys for four seasons now having made the switch from SuperSport United back in 2013, winning the MTN8, Absa Premiership and Telkom Knockout during his time there.
Now, with his current contract set to run out at the end of the 2017/18 season, the Siya crew has been informed that there are talks taking place that will see him extend his time in Braamfontein before the season comes to an end.
It remains to be seen what sort of length of the contract is on the table for Hunt at present, however despite the club’s disappointing form in the Absa Premiership this season, management is happy with the work that he has done up until this point.
Hunt has brought three trophies to Wits in the last 18 months, including their first ever league title, and it appears that his good work will be rewarded in the near future.
