Bucs Midfielder's Future In Doubt
Future Of Orlando Pirates Midfielder Is In Doubt
A decision on one of the Orlando Pirates' experienced midfielders is expected to be made by the club in due course.
As reported in edition 1061 of Soccer Laduma, Pirates are expected to make a decision on Thamsanqa Sangweni’s future in the coming weeks.
The indication from sources in the know is that a possible exit from Bucs could be on the cards for the player at the end of the current season.
Sangweni is struggling for game-time at Bucs, despite being expected to make a significant impact at the club when he joined.
With only three appearances for the former Chippa United star, out of the 22 matches for Pirates in their Absa Premiership campaign, it is expected that a move could be on the cards for the 28-year-old.
“Thamsanqa Sangweni finds himself in an unfortunate situation with lack of game-time at Pirates. The boy is a quality player who should be playing regularly. It would be good if the club can decide to loan him. They will decide what to do before next season and could sell him,” said the source.
The last official match for Sangweni at Pirates was against SuperSport United in December.
