Free State Stars have further strengthened their squad with a defender from Polokwane City, while the Bethlehem club is struggling with their other transfer target from Bloemfontein Celtic.

Having already secured the services of Ricardo Ndiki from Cape Town All Stars, Ea Lla Koto have now also completed the signing of Tshepo Tema from Rise and Shine.
Both Ndiki and Tema are defensive minded players, who will strengthen the right and central defensive positions for coach Luc Eymael's team for the new season.
Stars have also been interested in signing Deon Hotto from Celtic, as reported by the Siya crew, as Eymael is keen on reuniting with some of the players he previously worked with, in the PSL.

However, sources have told the Siya crew that the Free State club has been struggling in their chase for the Namibian player's signature.
In addition, Stars are also keen on finalising a deal with Jabulani Maluleke from Polokwane.
