It seems that a return to Free State Stars for Ernst Middendorp is unlikely for now as he has not yet been at the club.
Following the departure of Luc Eymael from Ea Lla Koto during the FIFA international break, Middendorp emerged as one of the candidates for a coaching job at the Bethlehem outfit.

According to sources in the know, a move back to the Free State club for the German coach is unlikely at this stage.
“So far, Free State Stars have been unsuccessful in their pursuit of Ernst Middendorp for a return to the club. The club has been told that the coach may only be available in January. They are likely to asses other options,” said the source.
Middendorp is currently with Bangkok United in Thailand as their technical director. The next Absa Premiership match for Ea Lla Koto has been scheduled for December 11 against Orlando Pirates.
