PSL Return To Be Finalised For Former Youth International, Confirmation Imminent
Free State Stars Expected To Announce Former Youth International Signing
A return to the PSL is likely to be finalised for the former South African youth international defender, who has been plying his trade in the NFD in recent seasons.
As confirmed by sources close to Free State Stars, 23-year-old Thabo Makhele is one of the players expected to be unveiled at the Bethlehem outfit when the club announces new signings for the 2018/19 season.
The defender, who has been on the books of SuperSport United but playing in the NFD on loan, has agreed to a move to Ea Lla Koto in this transfer window, according to sources in the know.
Makhele came through the amateur ranks playing for Maluti FET College. After being signed by Witbank Spurs in 2015, Makhele went on to sign with Matsatsantsa in the following year.
The player was loaned to Stellenbosch FC in January last year, before being loaned back to Spurs last season. He has also been able to make a name for himself with the South African U23 team in recent years.
