A Guinean international is among four new faces at Black Leopards as the club’s recently appointed head coach Luc Eymael is looking at the options to reinforce his squad.
With Eymael having joined Leopards two weeks ago, there have been signs of improvement in the team’s performances, though Lidoda Duvha lost 2-1 against Mamelodi Sundowns in their last match before the FIFA international break, following their 1-0 win over Bloemfontein Celtic in the previous match.
Former Free State Stars defender Bangali Keita has surfaced at Leopards for training, with a view to win a contract. Other players training with the side are the former Bidvest Wits duo of Prince Nxumalo and Thobani Mncwango, as well as Tshepo Tema, who was previously with Ea Lla Koto.
“Thobani Mncwango is at Black Leopards and is training with the team. Another player training with the team is Tshepo Tema,” confirmed a source.
“Prince Nxumalo is also with the team and also training. Bangali Keita is also training although he can’t be signed straight away as the club has exhausted its foreign quota,” the source said.
Contacted by the Siya crew for comment on the new arrivals, Eymael confirmed the presence of the four players in Leopards training this week.
