A former Orlando Pirates youngster has signed a deal outside of Mzansi as he looks to revive his career after struggling in his search for a club at home.
Following his release from Pirates last year, along with stars like Abbubaker Mobara and Thabo Qalinge, Ricardo Lourenco struggled to find a club in the Premiership and GladAfrica Championship, which led the player to search for opportunities outside the country.
As confirmed to the Siya crew by sources in the know, the 25-year-old midfielder who did well for the Buccaneers as their captain in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge team has signed a deal in Botswana.
In 2017, Lourenco was one of the players named in Stuart Baxter’s Bafana Bafana squad for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers against Botswana, a country he now finds himself in, as he hopes to revive his career with Jwaneng Galaxy.
