Former Orlando Pirates target Joseph Mhlongo is set to be available on a free to potential suitors after parting ways with Black Leopards.
Following prolonged contract talks that failed to yield positive results for the player, Mhlongo and Leopards have decided to go their separate ways.
The 29-year-old striker’s contract was due to expire on June 30.
“Joseph Mhlongo has parted ways with Black Leopards. The player is assessing his options and will be joining a new club for next season,” confirmed a source.
Mhlongo joins the likes of Thuso Phala, Cuthbert Malajila and Karabo Tshepe among some of the players that have parted ways with Lidoda Duvha this season.
The forwad has made 16 appearances in the Absa Premiership this season. He has been with the Limpopo outfit since 2017 and was influential in helping the club to gain promotion to the topflight in 2018.
