Former Orlando Pirates defender, Tshepo Gumede, is among the latest arrivals at Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC.
After parting ways with AmaZulu this past season, Gumede trained with newly promoted Swallows before surfacing at TTM where he is joined in the team’s training by Ayanda Nkili, who recently left Polokwane City after their relegation to Mzansi’s second tier league.
“Central defenders Ayanda Nkili and Tshepo Gumede are at TTM and hoping to earn contracts. Both players are training with the team in Hatfield in Pretoria,” said the source.
Meanwhile, TTM is expected to officially announce former Chippa United coach Norman Mapeza as the club’s head coach, with sources indicating that the Zimbabwean has already arrived at the club this past weekend.
In other news, Tshidino Ndou has resigned from his position as the communications and marketing manager at the club amid controversial and unusual statements and tweets from the Limpopo outfit in recent weeks, which include the much talked about letter which congratulated Black Leopards after they lost to them in the play-offs last month.
The Siya crew has obtained a copy of Ndou's resignation letter which he directed to club chairman Lawrence Mulaudzi and it reads as follows:
Dear Mr Mulaudzi,
I am writing to notify you that I am relieving myself from the Communications and
Marketing Manager’s position with immediate effect.
Stepping aside was not an easy decision for me as I know you believed in me and my
capabilities. However, I had to do so in order to focus on other things that I paused
during my time at TTM FC. I appreciate the opportunities I have been given during my
time with TTM, as well as your undivided support.
I wish you and TTM FC the best of success in the topflight. To the TTM FC family,
thank you for the short time we spent together. I will remain a loyal supporter of TTM FC.
