The left back is currently with Chippa United, having joined the Port Elizabeth club from Pirates in January. Last season, Nkosinathi Mthiyane spent time on loan at Arrows from Pirates between January and the end of the season.

Abafana Bes’thende are believed to be keen on signing the player on a permanent deal, as the 29-year-old has been struggling for game-time since re-joining Chippa.

Unlike Mxolisi Macuphu, Linda Mntambo and Thabo Rakhale, who have been playing regularly since joining the Chilli Boys in January, Mthiyane has been struggling with a lack of game-time at the Eastern Cape outfit.
