Chabangu, who was recently with Mikhado FC in Limpopo’s ABC Motsepe League, has joined a new team.

As confirmed to the Siya crew, the 32-year-old attacking midfielder has joined Pretoria Callies in Mzansi’s third tier. The Tshwane outfit has former South African U-20 national team coach Solly Luvhengo as their head coach.

Chabangu struggled to secure a deal with a club in Mzansi’s topflight, since parting ways with Chippa United in 2016. Attempts to land a contract in the NFD have also been unsuccessful.

His sell by date has long passed and he needs to go and look for employment now. How can he revive his soccer career at the age of 32?

Sometimes I wonder why are footballers different from the rest of the Public. Most people earn less than 1/4 what these guys earn. My question is, is the desperation for contract because of money or just love of the game. If its for money then players need to learn. At 32 there's not much he van still offer or get.
