The representatives of former Kaizer Chiefs youngster, Mpho Khumalo, have confirmed that the midfielder is set to join a new club.
Speaking to the Siya crew, Gerald Baloyi of Vodia Players Management, confirmed that arrangements have been made for the 22-year-old to join Free State Stars for the new season.
“Mpho Khumalo will be on his way to join Free State Stars. We have discussed his move to the club for the new season,” said Baloyi.
Khumalo previously also played for Mthatha Bucks in the National First Division. Meanwhile, Ea Lla Koto are expected to regroup on June 17, as the Bethlehem outfit will be working on finding their way back to Mzansi’s topflight, after being relegated at the end of the 2018/2019 season.
Following the exit of Nikola Kavazovic – the Serbian coach who was in charge when the team got relegated – club legend Themba Sithole has been tasked with guiding Ea Lla Koto back to the topflight.
Duncan Lechesa, who has been coaching Stars’ Multichoice Diski Challenge team, is expected to assist Sithole in guiding Ea Lla Koto in the NFD.
