Chippa United have been expected to finalise the signing of Edward Manqele, with a view to adding him to Teboho Moloi’s team for the remainder of the season.
The striker surprisingly parted ways with Free State Stars in January – four months after he had re-joined the club, following his departure from Chiefs. The 30-year-old is expected to re-join Chippa as he attempts to revive his career.
“The club has been expected to finalise a deal with the player. He is going to finish the season playing for Chippa,” said the source.
