New Deal Secured For Striker After Chiefs Exit

Former Kaizer Chiefs Striker Pens A Deal In Zimbabwe

By Soccer Laduma - Jul 30, 2018 11:51 AM

A former Kaizer Chiefs striker has penned a deal with a club in Zimbabwe, following his departure from the Soweto giants.

The Siya crew has it on good authority that Michelle Katsvairo has joined Caps United. The 28-year-old has spent the last six months without a club, after parting ways with Amakhosi in January this year.

The player’s representative Michael Ngobeni of M Sport Management confirmed his deal with the Zimbabwean Premier League.

“Michelle Katsvairo has signed a one and a half year deal with Caps United FC in Zimbabwe,” confirmed Ngobeni.

Having spent the first half of the 2017/18 season with Singida United in Tanzanian on loan from Chiefs, Katsvairo returned to the club at the end of last year before the Soweto giants decided on terminating his contract.

The player will now be on course to revive his career in his country of birth.

Cowditor, will you assess, eye, sniff at PSL offices regarding low paid salaries earned by small teams players like Amazulu, SSU, MUnited, FSS, Chippa. These clubs are not receiving luxurious sponsorship like the big 3 clubs, the R1M stipend to these small clubs results in small team players earning not more than R5k pm. If PSL could increase this stipend to R1.5M? Each player will take home R7,500pm? SAPFU is just a useless Union in fighting for players minimum wage living
