Mokgothu struggled to get a club in the PSL, since leaving Chiefs last year. The 27-year-old finished the year playing in the ABC Motsepe League for Baberwa FC.
A potential move to a club overseas is being organised for the left back to try and help him resurrect his career.
“There is a club in South America that is interested in Levy Mokgothu. Arrangements are being made for his possible departure. It’s just a matter of when he will be leaving, but he is set to go.
“The boy is keen for a return to top-flight football. He is hungry. He was just unfortunate at Chiefs,” a source told the Siya crew.
