Nkausu finished the 2016/17 season with Ea Lla Koto. Having parted ways with the Bethlehem outfit at the end of last season, the Zambian attracted interest from AmaTuks.

AmaTuks are one of Nkausu’s former clubs, as the experienced player was part of the side when he first arrived in South Africa in 2003. He went on to play for the likes of SuperSport United and Bloemfontein Celtic since arriving in Mzansi over 14 years ago.

The indication from sources close to AmaTuks is that the 32-year-old is likely to join Shaun Bartlett’s team for their NFD campaign this season.

Cape Town City chairman John Comitis says the reported interest in Mamelodi Sundowns talisman Khama Billiat was nothing but a myth. The Citizens were rumoured to be after the services of the 27-year-old, amidst speculation that he was possibly on his way out of Chloorkop after reportedly refused to sign a contract extension to prolong his stay with the African Champions, as iself understands that the Zimbabwean is in his final year of his contract. “We haven’t done anything with Khama,” Comitis told iScefe “And from what we understand, we thought he was on his way to Europe,” he added. City may not be interested in Billiat, but there are some overseas-based players that the former Ajax Cape Town boss has his sights on as the Premier Soccer League transfer window period shuts down tonight. However, recruiting those players is all dependent on whether club captain Lebogang Manyama will make his speculated move abroad. “It will all depend if the transaction with Manyama to Europe materializes or not. We are not looking at anyone locally at the moment. It will be an international player, we have one or two options and we will be looking to bring,” Comitis said. Comitis has also revealed that midfielder Aubrey Ngoma is steadily making his way towards full fitness after suffering from a knee injury in June. “Aubrey was at training this week … he did little jogging. I think he is two weeks ahead of schedule, so I am anticipating that in four weeks’ time he is going to join the team on a full basis,” said Comitis.
