Newly-promoted DStv Premiership side Sekhukhune United are signalling their intent for life in the top-flight with a host of big-name players linked with the club.
Babina Noko gained promotion to the top-flight after winning their court case against the Premier Soccer League and were declared winners of the GladAfrica Championship.
Now, to avoid the trap of being sucked down into the second tier after just one season in the big time, the Siya crew has reported that the club, whose base is in Gauteng, has identified a number of big-name players to add to their roster next season.
Amongst those are former Kaizer Chiefs midfielders Siphelele Ntshangase, who as reported by the Siya crew is in advanced talks with Sekhukhune over a possible deal for the new season, while the club is believed to be chasing Hendrick Ekstein.
The club has also tabled an offer for former Mamelodi Sundowns veteran midfielder Tiyani Mabunda, following his exit from Chloorkop after seven years at the Brazilians.
It is not only on the playing front where Sekhukhune have been strengthening their team.
The crew also reported that former Lesotho national team coach Thabo Senong has agreed a deal in principle with the club that would see him take up the assistant coach role at the PSL rookies next season.
