After managing to lure former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Oupa Manyisa to their stable, ambitious GladAfrica Championship side Polokwane City Rovers look set to snap up another PSL veteran.
Rovers have made a decent start in their maiden season in the country’s second tier and currently find themselves in fifth place on the log standings with 12 matches played.
Their ambitions of gaining promotion to the topflight appear to have received a massive boost after the Siya crew have been reliably informed that the first division rookies are closing in on the signing of striker, Sibusiso Masina.
The 31-year-old former Cape Town City and Swallows FC midfielder has spent the last few weeks training with Rovers in hopes of securing a deal with the club.
Now Siya sources have informed the crew that the Daveyton-born forward has impressed the club’s technical team and is expected to put pen to paper in the near future.
Masina spent the last season with Royal AM in the GladAfrica Championship but parted ways with the KZN outfit before they purchased the topflight status of Bloemfontein Celtic.
