A midfielder from Ajax Cape Town could be set to join a new club, as Bloemfontein Celtic close in on the player.

In the latest edition of Soccer Laduma, issue 1058, the Siya crew reported that Innocent Nemukondeni has parted ways with Ajax and that the midfielder has been in search of a new club.
“Innocent Nemukondeni has agreed to the mutual termination of his contract with Ajax Cape Town. Already, there are two clubs interested in him. Baroka FC and Chippa United are showing interest in him,” a source told the Siya crew.

It has since emerged that Celtic are now favourites to land the player after being alerted to his availability.
“Innocent is likely to join Bloemfontein Celtic. Celtic is interested in the player’s services, with a view to signing him,” confirmed another source.

Having joined Ajax in August, Nemukondeni struggled for game-time at the Mother City outfit, which led to him parting ways with the side.
