News reaching Siya crew is that another club has joined the race for the signature of a GladAfrica Championship star.
As previously reported by the Siya crew in edition 1214 of Soccer Laduma, Richards Bay's Veluyeke Zulu is understood to have attracted interest from the likes of Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.
Sources have indicated that Chiefs are frontrunners to land Zulu's signature, with SuperSport United believed to be also keen on the defender.
Zulu has been influential for the Natal Rich Boys this season and it now appears that Stellenbosch FC is the latest club believed to be also vying for the services of the in-demand centre back.
The 25-year-old, who will soon be preparing for the promotion/relegation play-offs has also attracted interest from abroad, with an unnamed Danish club enquiring about his availability.
Zulu's representative, Mduduzi Mdletshe has confirmed that Zulu is wanted in the PSL.
"He is wanted by teams in the DStv Premiership but I can't mention names because they are still focusing on finishing their season, as we know the situation. So let's respect that, give them time," Mdletshe tells the Siya crew.
His contract with the Natal Rich Boys ends on 30 June, and it remains to be seen whether the club will exercise the option in his deal to extend his stay.
