In the latest edition of Soccer Laduma, issue 1066, it has been reported that Punch Masenamela could be affected by squad changes expected to take place at Baroka FC at the end of the season.

After playing in 12 of Baroka’s 24 league matches so far this season, the experienced left back has fallen down the pecking order at the Limpopo club.

The 31-year-old’s last official match for Bakgaga was in January. The Bochum-born player could follow the likes of Olaleng Shaku and Oscarine Masuluke on his way out of the club, according to informants in the know.

Baroka are said to be planning to build a young squad for next season, with the likelihood of young players getting the opportunity to make a name for themselves in the PSL.
