A Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder is facing an exit from the club due to lack of enough playing time in coach Pitso Mosimane’s team.
Sundowns are believed to be considering sending Lucky Mohomi out on loan as their way of assisting him to revive his career.

Mohomi has struggled for game-time at Downs since his arrival at the club from Free State Stars in 2016.
With the Chloorkop outfit having recently completed the signing of Bafana Bafana international, Andile Jali to add him to the likes of Hlompho Kekana, Tiyani Mabunda and Oupa Manyisa in Downs’ midfield, Mohomi could be set for a daunting task in fighting for regular game-time in Mosimane’s team, if he stays for another season with the club.
Coach Mosimane is spoilt for choice in central midfield, which has resulted in Mohomi managing only two substitute appearances in all competitions for Sundowns last season, despite having arrived with a lot of promise from the Free State two years ago.

“Lucky Mohomi is likely to be loaned out by Mamelodi Sundowns. He hasn’t played much and it only makes sense that he is allowed to move on loan for the new season,” said the source.
Mohomi’s contract with Sundowns runs until June 2019, though the club does have a two-year option in place to extend his stay further.
