Ex-Downs Man Set For Wits Exit?

Former Mamelodi Sundowns striker, Eleazar Rodgers, is likely to be on the hunt for a new team next season, with an exit from Bidvest Wits believed to be on the cards.
The 33-year-old played 12 Absa Premiership games for the Clever Boys last season, scoring twice, and Siya sources have suggested that he is set to move on once his current contract expires at the end of this month.
Rodgers, who played for Platinum Stars inbetween turning out for Sundowns and Wits, has 44 league goals to his name over the last 10 seasons, and at 33 is probably considering what will happen when his playing days come to an end.
The striker is likely to be one of several players who make an exit from Braamfontein come the start of July, however there has been no official comment from the Clever Boys regarding incomings and outgoings prior to the start of the 2018/19 season.
Other names linked with a departure from Wits are the likes of Bongani Khumalo, Daine Klate, Nazeer Allie and Elias Pelembe.
