Kaizer Chiefs have been offered the services of an Egyptian striker, with the club now set to assess whether the player will add value to the team next season.
Amr Gamal, who was previously on loan with Bidvest Wits from Al Ahly, is believed to be on the lookout to return to the Absa Premiership, with the 26-year-old’s stint with HJk Helsinki in Finland set to come to an end on August, 31.
Chiefs have already announced four new signings ahead of the July/August transfer window, adding Khama Billiat, Virgil Vries, Letlhogonolo Mirwa and Andriamirado Andrianarimanana to their books.
Now, according to Siya sources, Chiefs may have another attacking option that they could assess in the coming weeks, with the source adding that Gamal’s availability has been discussed with the club.
Other players such as Anthony Laffor, Talent Chawapiwa and Idris Mbombo are also on the list of players who are currently being linked to the club, with Egyptian striker, Gamal now also an option for the near future.
Gamal is contracted to Egyptian giants, Al Ahly until the year 2020, however, indications are that the club will be keen on the sale or another loan stint elsewhere for the player in the new season.
