Defender Returns Home After Masandawana Exit
Fares Hachi didn’t waste much time in finding a new club following his exit from Mamelodi Sundowns, and has already started training with his new team in France.
Hachi, who is 29-years-old, became surplus to requirements at Masandawana recently and was sent out on loan to Chippa United, although made just four Absa Premiership appearances for the club during his time there.
Now, having left Sundowns, it has been reported in Algeria that he has joined MC Alger as a free agent, and has joined up with them for their preseason camp in France.
According to Le Soir d’Algerie, Hachi underwent medical tests this week ahead of his move, and has now become one of the club’s latest signings ahead of the new season.
Hachi was one of many foreign players at Chloorkop without a permanent residence permit, and it was therefore tough for Mosimane to make space for him in the side – especially given the performances of Tebogo Langerman of late.
