Seth Parusnath, a recent Kaizer Chiefs target, is understood to have penned a two-year contract with the Glamour Boys’ DStv Premiership rivals.
According to information made available to the Siya crew, the versatile midfielder is expected to join Sekhukhune United and has been able to sign on the dotted line after the transfer window closed on Tuesday because he is a free agent.
Chiefs were said to be keen on his services after Parusnath left Golden Arrows at the end of the season, with SuperSport United also in talks to acquire his services.
But the Tshwane outfit told him to stop training with coach Kaitano Tembo’s side in July with the club not willing to be part of a bidding war for his signature.
The player was then left stranded when the interest from Chiefs did not develop into anything serious – and a possible return to Arrows was even on the cards.
However, it’s now understood that Sekhukhune has landed the player and will add him to a squad that already has quite a few new faces for coach MacDonald Makhubedu to make sure that the rookies retain their status.
Insiders have informed the crew that the two-year deal also has added options that could mean the player is with Babina Noko for the long term.
