Reports Link Chiefs With Uganda Striker

Reports coming out of Uganda have suggested that Kaizer Chiefs could land a new striker next month, when the January transfer window opens up.
According to kawowo.com, Emmanuel Okwi could become the latest Glamour Boy next month after terms were agreed with regards to a transfer, however there has been nothing official confirmed in South Africa at this point in time.
Okwi, who turned 26 on Christmas Day, has been in fine form for Simba SC in Tanzania of late, putting in a number of good performances as they reached the group stages of this year’s CAF Champions League tournament.
Kawowo are reporting, however, that his future may lie away from the Tanzanian giants though, with a move to Soweto said to be on the cards.
The website stated, “The Uganda Cranes international who plies his trade with Tanzania giants Simba SC has reliably agreed personal terms with the South African side.
“Reliable sources also indicate both clubs have agreed on the transfer of the player who has been instrumental in helping the Msimbazi reach the group stages of the Caf Champions League.”
Chiefs already have one Ugandan, Godfrey Walusimbi, in their side, and have had the likes of Ivan Bukenya there in the past.
