Aubrey Ngoma may be tempted to try and move away from Mamelodi Sundowns in the January transfer window, even if it’s on a short-term basis.

The 29-year-old had endured a tough 18 months or so as he recovered from a serious injury that he acquired while still contracted to City, meaning that since the start of the 2017/18 season he has only managed to make just 10 appearances in all competitions.
Ngoma has made just five appearances for Masandawana since his earlier this year, and so far his only minutes – 12 to be exact – came against AS Togo-Port back in July.
The attacker does have a long-term deal with Sundowns - until 2023 it is thought – however the arrival of the likes of Jose Ali Meza, Lebohang Maboe, Toni Silva and Phakamani Mahlambi have seen him drop down the pecking order.
With that in mind, the former Orlando Pirates man may look to use the January transfer window as a way of getting some regular game-time and returning to form, though the ball is completely in Sundowns’ court at this point.
