Confusion Over Amakhosi Signing

Kaizer Chiefs believe that they are on solid ground regarding the signing of Andriamirado Andrianarimanana, who joins the Amakhosi from an amateur club.
Fosa Juniors, who ‘Dax’ was formerly playing for, claim that Chiefs have never been in contact with them about the 27-year-old, though admit that they are open to discussions over a transfer.
The player put in a string of impressive performances in the recent COSAFA Cup, performances that led to him being offered a deal by the Glamour Boys.
His former club said in a statement on their official Facebook page, “Following recent speculation in the media in respect of a transfer of Andriamirado Aro Hasina (Dax) to Kaizer Chiefs of South Africa, we would like to put on the record that the latter club has not approached Fosa Juniors FC for a transfer and no transfer has been signed between the two clubs.
“However, we remain open to any serious offer respecting the procedures for the international transfer of players.”
Meanwhile, Siya sources have explained that Chiefs, who have already confirmed Andrianarimanana’s move to Naturena, believe that they have done everything in the correct way regarding their pursuit of the player, and are looking forward to his arrival at the club once his contract starts next month.
It is also understood that the Madagascan league is not a professional one, and therefore the player is unlikely to have been on a professional contract with Fosa in the first place.
