A Mauritian striker is in South Africa and in search of a deal with one of the clubs.
The Siya crew has learnt that Jason Alex Ferre, who is a Mauritian youth international striker, is in search of a deal in Mzansi.
Ferre’s representative, from G and Q Management Mpho Machaba, confirmed the player’s arrival in Mzansi.
“He is a Mauritian striker who is also playing for the Under-23 team in his country. He has started training with Ubuntu Cape Town FC. He is a player they are interested in and they feel that could add value to their team,” said Machaba.
The representative has likened the player to former Orlando Pirates striker, Kermit Erasmus.
“He is a player in the mould of Kermit Erasmus in terms of play. In terms of his body, he is more like Eleazar Rodgers. In terms of play, he is more like Erasmus, because he can shoot from any angle and is good with his feet,” he concluded.
