Chippa United is linked with a striker who was previously on the club’s books, with the Port Elizabeth club believed to be keen on adding him to their roster for the 2018/19 season.
Moeketsi Sekola, who is currently on the books of Highlands Park, is believed to have attracted the interest of the Chilli Boys who are yet to win a match this season.

The striker previously had a spell with Chippa when he spent the first half of last season on loan at the Eastern Cape outfit from the Lions of the North.
With the 29-year-old struggling for game-time under coach Owen da Gama at the Lions of the North, the indication is that Chippa would be keen on signing him like they did with Edward Manqele who left and returned to the club last season.
“Chippa United is interested in Moeketsi Sekola who hasn’t been getting enough game-time at Highlands Park,” said the source.
Sekola was an unused substitute against Orlando Pirates while he was not in the matchday squad against Black Leopards.
Contacted for comment, Sekola’s representative Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi of Rush Hour Sports Management confirmed interest in the forward.
“It’s true that there is interest in Moeketsi Sekola. He is a quality player and I cannot be surprised for the interest in him,” said Mulovhedzi.
