Chippa United could find themselves in hot water after parting ways with one of their foreign players.
Following the emergence of Veli Mothwa, who took over as the number one goalkeeper at the Chilli Boys under coach Norman Mapeza earlier in the season, Patrick Tignyemb was released from the club.
However, the experienced Cameroonian claims that he is owed money from the Eastern Cape club following his release.
The South African Football Players Union (SAFPU) confirmed to the Siya crew that they are looking into the matter in attempt to assist the 34-year-old shot-stopper.
Former Real Kings shot-stopper Mlungisi Mazibuko has been the reserve goalkeeper in the last few matches for Chippa, before the PSL break, as Mothwa not only took over as the number but also became the club captain.
