Chippa United are believed to be closing in on a Zimbabwean striker as attempts to strengthen the Port Elizabeth-based club’s squad progress.
During the course of the 2018/19 season, it was reported by the Siya crew that the Chilli Boys have had their sights on Zimbabwean striker Takunda Sadiki, with a view of adding him to their roster.

News reaching the Siya crew is that the club’s interest in the forward has been reignited, with the player expected to be in the Eastern Cape in the coming days to possibly conclude a move to the PSL.
Sadiki has impressed with his performances and work rate in Botswana’s Premier League, where he has been playing for Sharps Shooting Stars.

Furthermore, the player impressed during a short trial he had with Chippa in March, which led to the club promising to invite him again at the end of the season.
With the player’s contract with the Botswana club due to expire, he is likely to sign with the Chilli Boys on a free, and will be expected to join the club for their pre-season.
