Chippa United are expected to make a decision on a Nigerian striker that has arrived at the club and has been training with the team.
After recently signing Botswana international goalkeeper Mwampole Masule, who joined the club as a replacement for Daniel Akpeyi after the Nigerian shot-stopper’s move to Kaizer Chiefs, the Chilli Boys have welcomed Oke Akpoveta for training with Clinton Larsen’s team.
The Nigerian forward has previously played in Denmark and Sweden for the likes of Brondby, Lyngby and Helsingborg, among other clubs.
According to sources, the 27-year-old is set to be given some time to impress for a chance to potentially join the Port Elizabeth outfit at a later stage.
The Chilli Boys are keen on using all the options they have to strengthen the squad for a chance to move the team away from relegation zone.
