New Chiefs Contract For Khune?
Chiefs Expected To Offer Itumeleng Khune New Contract
As reported in edition 1060 of Soccer Laduma, Kaizer Chiefs are believed to be preparing a new contract for the club's goalkeeper, Itumeleng Khune, according to sources.
According to the Siya crew informant, Khune will see his current deal at the club expire in less than 18 months time.
The club is said to have plans to finalise the player’s contract before he enters into the last six months of his existing deal.
According to a source, Khune’s contract with Amakhosi, which includes an option, will end in June of 2019. Chiefs are keen on extending the goalkeeper’s stay to keep him at the club beyond the current spell.
Khune has been a key player for Chiefs, with his leadership qualities beneficial to the squad, on and off the field over the years.
Having proven to be the difference for Chiefs on numerous occasions in the past, the club does not want to leave anything to chance, as they aim to extend the contract of Mzansi’s number one goalkeeper.
