Cape Town City parted ways with their Nigerian striker following the player’s short stint in the Premier Soccer League.
The Mother City-based club announced the signing of Victor Obinna in September last year, in hopes that Head Coach Benni McCarthy found a marksman to bring in the goals for his side.

However, after scoring just one goal in 14 appearances for the club, the two parties have since agreed to part ways.

The Citizens announced the signing of former Kaizer Chiefs striker, Matthew Rusike and it remains to be seen whether the player will make his mark for the Mother City-based club.
