Chiefs ‘Keeper Secures Lengthy Amakhosi Contract
Kaizer Chiefs’ newest professional goalkeeper, Bruce Bvuma, has landed a long-term contract with the club after impressing in the Multichoice Diski Challenge.
The Siya crew reported last week that the 21-year-old shot-stopper had taken the step up to the club’s professional ranks after training with their senior team for some time, and went on to be named on the bench for the impressive win over Mamelodi Sundowns.
While news of the player’s new deal is yet to be announced, the crew is led to believe that he has penned a lengthy deal at Naturena, one that has the potential to see him through until the 2020/21 season.
As reported in this week’s issue of Soccer Laduma, Bvuma has signed a contract that could ultimately last for four and a quarter years, although the actual breakdown is not yet known.
The club shot-stopper is expected to make an announcement at some stage regarding the deal, but at this stage, it remains unclear as to whether his deal is a straight four-year one or a two-year deal with a two-year option.
