Siya sources have revealed that Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper, Brilliant Khuzwayo is yet to commit his future to a club.
The 28-year-old has not been short of interested suitors, ever since he entered the final six months of his contract with Chiefs.
The KwaZulu-Natal-born shot-stopper announced last month that he would be leaving Amakhosi on June 30, after six years at the club.
Prior to his announcement, the player was heavily linked with a move to both Cape Town City and Orlando Pirates, with Mamelodi Sundowns also showing interest in the keeper.
However, the Siya crew revealed in January this year that Khuzwayo’s reported move to City fell through after the two parties were unable to agree on financial terms.
It was then reported by the crew that Pirates are keen on the goalkeeper, as they are still on their hunt to find their number one between the sticks.
It seemed that following his official announcement of his departure from Naturena, Khuzwayo’s move to Pirates would be imminent.
However, despite reports revealing that the player has put pen to paper on a contract, it has since been revealed to the crew that the goalkeeper is yet to commit his future to any club.
Khuzwayo’s representative, Tim Sukazi has since stepped down from his role as a football agent at Quality Talent Sports, adding that he has since trained other professionals at the agency to deal with player movements.
With that being said, Khuzwayo’s camp seems to be taking their time to finalise a move for the player, indicating that they want to secure the best deal for the 28-year-old’s future, with regards to both financial terms and game-time.
