Wits In Discussions Over Duo's Deals

Bidvest Wits are in discussions regarding two players at the minute, although a decision has not been made as to whether they will be at the club next season or not.
Both Bongani Khumalo and Nazeer Allie will see their options expire at the end of this month after playing their role in helping the Clever Boys to another piece of silverware this season, and as of yet there is no agreement in place to extend their relationship.
The duo played 16 and 12 games respectively in the Absa Premiership as Gavin Hunt rotated his squad throughout the course of the campaign, and are unlikely to be short of options should the decision be made to part ways.
The Siya crew spoke to Glyn Binkin, who represents the pair, who confirmed that – as things stand – no decision has been made.
Binkin said, “I met with Jose over the weekend, and discussions are ongoing.”
Wits have already exercised options on the likes of Lehlohonolo Majoro, Thabang Monare and Daylon Claasen, although the future’s of several other players remain uncertain at present.
