News reaching the Siya crew is that plans to revive Bloemfontein Celtic are gaining momentum.
As previously reported, plans to bring back Siwelele to the Premier Soccer League is at and advanced stage, after the club's status was sold to Royal AM due to financial challenges.
Siya sources have revealed that fomer Bloemfontein Celtic staff, Ditheko Mototo (assistant coach), Simon Gopane (goalkeeper coach) and Kgosi Molokwane (video analyst) were released by Royal AM, with indications that the trio are working to towards the revival of Celtic.
Indications are that a meeting was held last week to discuss the way forward, with insiders informing the Siya crew that potential buyers have earmarked two clubs, one in the DStv Premiership and another in the GladAfrica Championship.
It is believed that some former Celtic players are aware of the current plans, with an announcement expected at the end of the current season.
