Leonardo Castro could be heading to a club abroad after Siya sources have revealed that there is currently a big money deal on the cards for the player.
Castro has been heavily linked with an exit from Mamelodi Sundowns for quite some time now, with the Siya crew recently reporting that Masandawana will only let the player go once there is an offer on the table for his services.

Sources have since revealed that a club in Thailand is showing keen interest in the Colombian’s services, however, at this point it is still unknown whether the undisclosed club will look to make an offer to Sundowns in the January transfer window or wait until the 28-year-old becomes a free agent when he sees out his contract on June 30 of 2018.
Castro has also been heavily linked with a move to Kaizer Chiefs, however, according to Siya sources, the club in Thailand is looking to offer the player around R4 million after tax per annum, which could be hard to turn down.

Now, with Sundowns set to make the necessary changes to their squad in the upcoming January transfer window, it remains to be seen whether the club will decide to hold on to Castro’s services for the rest of the 2017/18 campaign or if management will look to cash in on the player and sell him to an interested suitor.
