Big PSL clubs interested in a Free State Stars’ star have missed out on landing his signature after the Bethlehem club decided to extend his contract.
PSL giants such as Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns have shown interest in Stars’ Sinethemba Jantjie.

However, a move for the 28-year-old from the Bethlehem outfit to any of the interested clubs did not happen during the January transfer window.
While Ea Lla Koto were believed to be looking at the region of R3 million for the Whittlesea-born player’s services, the club decided that the winger was still in their plans by offering him an extension on his contract – after exercising their option on his existing deal.
In edition 1058 of Soccer Laduma, a source in the know explained to the Siya crew how the player has stayed on with Stars as one of the club’s influential players for Luc Eymael’s team.

“Sinethemba Jantjie is unlikely to make a move during the current transfer window. The club (Stars) is reluctant to part ways with him. The club had an option on the player’s contract. The one-year option has since been activated. Should the club decide that they are not selling the player, he will be eligible to sign a pre-contract with another club in January next year and leave on a free at the end of next season,” said the source.
