Benni McCarthy is set to be joined by additional members on the bench at AmaZulu to further strengthen his technical team.
Having roped in his former Bafana Bafana striking partner Siyabonga Nomvethe as his assistant, McCarthy is set to be joined by Vasili Manousakis and Moeneeb Josephs as predicted by the Siya crew.
Manousakis is set to join Usuthu as McCarthy's first assistant, while Josephs is expected to be the goalkeeper coach.
Manousakis was McCarthy's assistant coach at Cape Town City when the former Bafana striker's coaching career began in 2016 and once held the fort when the ex-Champions League winner was unavailable for the Mother City outfit due to family-related issues.
Meanwhile, McCarthy and Josephs will be reunited after previously working together as players at Orlando Pirates, though it will be the first time working together as coaches.
Josephs finished last season with AmaZulu as the co-coach with Ayanda Dlamini where they did a great job of saving the club from relegation.
The former goalkeeper left the club at the end of last season as part of the changes that took place under the previous management when former Highlands Park assistant coach Allan Freese was brought in to assist Dlamini.
The Durban-based club is expected to announce the latest developments in due course.
