Mamelodi Sundowns are expected to conclude several contract extensions in the coming weeks, with head Coach Pitso Mosimane confirming that one of his foreigners are close to putting pen to paper on a new deal at the club.
Ivorian, Soumahoro Bangaly joined up with the Brazilians from ASEC Mimosas in the July/August transfer window in 2015, where he put pen to paper on a deal that is reportedly set to come to an end next year, June 30.
Speaking after Sundowns’ 1-0 loss to Cape Town City in the Absa Premiership last night, Head Coach Mosimane revealed that the club is expected to wrap up contract negotiations with the centre back today, December 20.
However, an official confirmation of a new deal for the 26-year-old is yet to be confirmed by the club, however, Mosimane stated to SuperSport TV that the player is close to signing a new contract with the Brazilians, which will see his stay extended beyond the current 2017/18 campaign.
Now, it remains to be seen when the Brazilians will conclude contract negotiations for the likes of Bangaly and Tiyani Mabunda.
