Being clubless could be a thing of the past for Ayanda Gcaba as the defender has been impressing in his search for a new club, according to sources in the know.
Following the expiry of his contract at Orlando Pirates and subsequent departure from the club, Gcaba surfaced at Black Leopards for training with the team.
According to sources, the 32-year-old has put himself in a favourable position to be signed by the Limpopo outfit, following his impressive performances in the team’s training.
The Port Shepstone-born player has also been linked with a move to Free State Stars – the club he made a name for himself with before he moved to Pirates in 2012.
Gcaba’s six-year stay with the Buccaneers ended with a six-month loan stint with Platinum Stars from January this year to June.
